What:
Today, we went to Lobs Lesson to stay with children. We finished our story, and we teach Rain and Tainmy how to make Korean traditional dress. Both of them did good job. Then we had indoor activity.
So what:
All children learned how to work with team today, and I felt so happy when I talked with them, and they are very polite.
I will make our work funny in next time because I felt our team lack of activity. I can learn how to work with children and I never did it before. I also can learn that Hammack is a lucky guy.
In next time I will ask them some question about their school and what do they do on weekend to know more about American life.
My teammate Min was really activity and talkative, that was good when talking with children.
Now what:
That is a good experience to me, and I think that communicating with children can make me become patient. I will use what I learn in the future with kids.

What:
On monday, Kiri with his student came to our class to share their presentation about Richmond CSI, Sports RVA and Educational Architecture.
So what:
I really interested in Educational Architecture because i want to apply interior deign in next year and this presentation is helpful to understand how environment affect people’s emotion. I wrote email to ask them question but they have not response me, i guess may be they are busy or my email is not formal.
Now what:
I want to research any interesting things in richmond and go to the events if i have chance.
What:
Today is my last in public library and there were lots of different people come there especially children. at first, Xiaomin, and i had a girl who are 13 years old and her nickname is Easy. i did my presentation about language first then there were another three girls came to enjoy our group. When i finished my presentation, xiaomin told them about chinese dishes.
So what:
I felt Easy was not interested in my topic because she always looked away and tried to find some thing when i talked withe her. She gone when i finished my presentation. I though may be my presentation was kind of boring or i did not express them clearly.
However, another girl were really enjoy our presentation and all of them were talkative even though they were very quiet at the beginning. I though they may fell shy at the beginning.
I had good experience with a Mrs with her two children. They gave me lots of response and patient when i did my presentation. And i did two of my presentation with them. i feel that i should improve my skill when i talk with children because they are too young and sometimes they cannot understand what adult say, i may use simple, funny, body language to talk with them if necessary.
Now what:
I learned how to communicate with children through this experience and in next week, i will try my best to help children finish their homework and make them feel funny and comfortable because i can understand how they feel when they meet people at first time they may feel strange, uncomfortable even fear. I will try my best to let them know i can be their friend only only a person who teach them.

Hollywood cemetery
What:
On last Monday, we went to Hollywood cemetery where has buried lots of famous people such as Lewis Ginter and people who were in Word War2. That is a beautiful cemetery as a garden. We had another class with us with 4 tour guide. That was my first time to go to American cemetery,that is not scare as we saw in the movie, and i felt really excited and comfortable.
So what:
I have to say that another teacher’s student are really good but we did not have lots of communication. Perhaps i should talked with them actively. Before came there i do not understand why Hollywood Cemetery named Hollywood but i guess it because lots of famous people buried there and they are like superstar.
I felt Hollywood cemetery is a good place for walking or running because that is a big place and very nature.
Now what:
After that experience, i would like to visit Hollywood Cemetery again for fun and relax.
